Megan enjoys traveling to prehistoric villages in the United States of America. She camps in the desert valleys to view ancient structures, southwestern landscapes, and primitive cultural grounds.

Last summer Megan painted this piece after our her to the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. She was deeply inspired by the strength the people possessed to cultivate the land by hand, dig into to dry soils, channel water to their fields, and nurture their families with the crops they grew.
