In 2018, I created a series of butterfly paintings to focus on the theme “change”. These paintings allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings into the symbol of a butterfly to represent “change” going on in my life. Some details are intentionally painted expressionistic to capture my emotions.

Change is not easy, but inevitable thought our lives. How do we move through each day gracefully and learn to deal with unexpected or undesirable change? Some of the most difficult moments I’ve experienced has brought unforeseen positive change.
