Sunflower Bicycle

Megan’s original Sunflower Bicycle oil pastel on burlap artwork  features a classic violet purple Schwinn Hollywood discovered by chance near the Steinbach Pavilion in old town Louisville, Colorado. The purple classic Schwinn frame included an attached wicker basket that although empty at the time, seemed to call out for a beautiful bouquet of yellow sunflowers. Sunflower Bicycle is one of the largest oil pastel on burlap artworks created by Megan to date on a 36″ W x 48″ burlap over wood panel canvas.

The popular Sunflower Bicycle artwork is featured on the large vinyl bicycle corral banner near Bittersweet Cafe directly West of the Steinbaugh Pavilion – advertising convenient bike parking for attending the bi-weekly Street Faire concerts.
