La Cabre Montes

Megan’s created La Cabre Montes cyclist artwork print for the ArtCrank 2014 Denver, Colorado poster show – producing a limited edition of (30) 2-color linocut prints. The original artwork is inspired by a cyclist competing in the annual Mount Evans Hill Climb (Colorado) race while being observed by a mountain goat while approaching the summit finish at an elevation of 14,100 feet above sea level.

Each print was hand-inked by Megan Morgan on our kitchen table & dried hanging in our garage. These prints deliver a stunning blue-black-white expression of the artwork’s ‘mountain goat’ symbolism.
