RIP (SOLD)

RIP conveys life’s essence through a river motif, utilizing reclaimed burlap, household paint, and a wooden canvas. I transformed these materials to create a river scene that flows with vitality and emotion. The rough texture of the burlap adds a tactile quality, evoking the rawness of nature, while the vibrant hues of paint bring the river to life, reflecting its ever-changing moods and movements. The sturdy wood canvas serves as a stable foundation, grounding the piece in a sense of permanence amidst the fluidity. This creative fusion of materials not only highlights the beauty of repurposing but also underscores the interconnectedness of life and nature. By repurposing materials like burlap and leftover latex paint, I strive to make a positive impact on the environment. Although the amount I use is small, each drop of paint that I save from ending up in a landfill contributes to a healthier planet.
