Inspired by Peter Wohlleben’s The Hidden Life of Trees, Silent Partners is a burlap vessel that honors the hidden networks sustaining life beneath our feet. Just as Wohlleben describes trees, fungi, and microbes quietly collaborating to keep forests alive, my sculpture reflects those unseen partnerships. Woven from upcycled burlap, latex paint, and a ceramic plate, it blends earthy greens and browns to echo fertile soil—where strength, connection, and renewal thrive out of sight. A quiet reminder: life depends not only on what we see, but on the invisible networks holding everything together.
