“Give and Take” is a sculpture made from New Mexico Iron Stone clay and repurposed burlap. The two hands represent reciprocity and were formed from this richly dark-colored Taos clay. They rest on a hand-stretched burlap wooden base and metal shelf bracket with a string magnet attached underneath the top hand. Burlap is painted and loosely encircles the artwork.
