I’ve spent the last few months making new artwork with my burlap to create sculptures within my “Tomorrow” series. Featured here is “Germinate”. After long walks in my neighborhood, I’ve been sketching, thinking, and processing new ways of seeing and creating. I’m very excited to share these artworks that tackle ideas of struggle, struggled growth, growing out of struggle, and more. By repurposing materials like burlap and leftover latex paint, I strive to make a positive impact on the environment. Although the amount I use is small, each drop of paint that I save from ending up in a landfill contributes to a healthier planet.
